Pitches for motorhomes |

Motorhomers feel very comfortable in El Astral and they are one of our main sources of clients. Our campsite is humble but it has all what they need for their comfort:
- We have large pitches up to 200 sqm for the biggest vehicles.
- There is a large area of 110 sqm pitches. You enter them by one side and leave them by the other side, so there is no need to manoeuvre.
- Since 1990 we have a Service Area, the first opened in a campsite in Spain. It provides water and drainage for free to our clients and we offer it at a very good price to motorhomers in transit.
- Chemical toilet emptying room.
- Absolute peace and safety is a great prestige of El Astral.
Therefore, and also due to our famous throughout the European motorhome websites and forums, we were given the Alan Rogers Motorhome Award 2006. This award is granted by the prestigious British guide "Alan Rogers" to the best campsite specialized in motorhome clients.

Finding a motorcaravan service area in Spain is quite difficult. As we have one in our camp, we thought it could be useful to you.
For motorhomes, there are two types of stay and three types of use:
NIGHT STAY (night included)
At our rates that are intended for our main source of clients, those who just stay one night. Of course, free use of the service area.
HALF STAY (from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
Precisely for being a one-night-stop campsite, we have a lot of pitches available during the central daylight hours. From many years ago, we have a lot of in-transit clients (motorhomers and caravanners) who like travelling by night, resting by day and keeping their trip at night-time. Please, do not confuse this rate with the rate corresponding to an overnight stay.
These clients just have to pay the half price of the normal stay and they have right to the same services, a pitch, and free use of the service area and swimming-pool in high season. Hot water is free in all seasons.
ONLY USE OF THE SERVICE AREA (motorhomers in transit)
These clients may use the service area, empty their tanks and fill water just for 1€. The maximum stay inside the campsite is 15 minutes.
Our camp is open from 1 April to 30 September. It is located at Tordesillas, province of Valladolid, 150 km. SW of Burgos on the N-620 (France-Portugal). To get to the camp you have to leave the higways, drive towards the village and follow our signs or the ones to the Parador Nacional (a Hotel very close to us). Distance: 2 km. from the highway.
